House Exterior Painting | Start to Finish

What happens here

Carefully remove the front door from its hinges, including the door hardware. Place the door horizontally on sawhorses or a similar elevated surface, ensuring it's stable. Use masking tape to cover any areas not to be painted. Pour the selected exterior semi-gloss paint (e.g., Behr Dynasty, Deep Base 9653, PPU13-03 Dark Ocean Blue is shown) into the paint sprayer's hopper, ensuring it's properly strained if necessary. Apply the paint using the sprayer, maintaining consistent distance and speed for an even, smooth finish. Apply multiple thin coats as needed to achieve full coverage and the desired semi-gloss sheen. Allow sufficient drying time between coats. Once painted, move the door to a safe, covered location to cure fully.

Goal: Remove the front door, prepare it for painting by setting it up on sawhorses, and spray it with a durable exterior semi-gloss paint in the chosen color.
