Grohe Shower Valve Handles Keep Falling Off..LETS GET TO FIXIN!
What happens here
Now, turn your attention to the second loose handle, which controls the water flow (diverter handle). Remove this handle by pulling it off the stem. In this case, there is no visible set screw in the handle itself. Carefully pry off the decorative escutcheon or cover plate around the handle. This may reveal the set screw or other components that need inspection.
Goal: Access the set screw or internal components of the flow diverter handle.
