What happens here

After the initial sanding, use a paint scraper to remove any remaining old material, especially in grooves, corners, or areas that the sander couldn't reach effectively. The video demonstrates using the scraper to dig into a narrow channel in the wood. Then, use a wire brush or a specialized grout cleaning brush to meticulously clean out any debris or loose material from these tight spaces, ensuring a clean and smooth surface in detailed areas.
