What happens here
Before beginning, gather all necessary tools and ensure you are wearing appropriate personal protective equipment. The video shows the use of white 'football gloves' for hand protection. Attach a sanding disc to your random orbital sander. Turn on the sander and check its operation. Once ready, begin sanding the flat surfaces of the wood door threshold to remove the bulk of the old paint, stain, or finish. Work slowly and evenly across the surface.
Goal: Remove the majority of old finish from the flat surfaces of the threshold.
