What happens here

With the furnace panels removed, dip a paper towel into the soapy water solution and apply it thoroughly to all threaded connections around the gas valve and within the furnace. Observe closely for any bubbling, which indicates gas escaping. In this instance, immediate and significant bubbling occurred at the connection point where the gas line enters the gas valve, confirming a leak.
