What happens here
Address washed-out sections of a farm road by bringing in truckloads of fill dirt. Use a tractor with a front-end loader to transport and spread the fill dirt into the eroded areas, leveling the surface. Once the dirt is spread, roll out old hay bales over the newly filled areas. The hay bales will help stabilize the soil, prevent further washing, and encourage new grass growth, ultimately reclaiming the roadbed and making it more resilient to future erosion. The problem was caused by a lack of 'water bars' or humps in the old roadbed, which allowed water to continuously wash out the road.
Goal: Repair and stabilize eroded sections of a farm road.
