What happens here
To prevent small goats and pigs from accessing and contaminating the main water trough, create a protective barrier. Place wooden pallets around the water trough, and then cover the pallets with a sheet of plywood. This creates a raised, stable platform that allows larger animals to drink while deterring smaller ones from climbing into or fouling the water. The electric fence running along the top of the trough also acts as a deterrent, discouraging animals from leaning over and potentially damaging the water source.
Goal: Prevent small goats and pigs from accessing and contaminating the water trough.
