FIXING A TOILET NOISE THAT WILL COST YOU A LOT OF MONEY!
What happens here
Before starting any work, locate the water shut-off valve, typically found on the wall behind or next to the toilet, and turn it clockwise until the water flow stops completely. Once the water supply is off, flush the toilet to drain the majority of the water from the tank. Any remaining water at the bottom of the tank is then absorbed using a sponge to prevent mess during the fill valve removal.
Goal: Safely stop the water supply to the toilet and remove water from the tank.
