FIXING A TOILET NOISE THAT WILL COST YOU A LOT OF MONEY!
What happens here
The video starts with the presenter explaining the common issue of a noisy, leaky toilet. He removes the toilet tank lid to inspect the internal components. He identifies that the existing fill valve is continuously letting water into the overflow tube, even when the tank should be full. To demonstrate this, he flushes the toilet, marks the initial full water level, and then observes the water refilling past the mark and overflowing into the overflow tube. He concludes that the old American Standard fill valve needs replacement, and introduces the Fluidmaster PerforMAX Toilet Fill Valve as the chosen replacement due to its reliability.
Goal: Identify the source of the toilet leak and confirm the need for fill valve replacement.
