Prepare Existing Connections

What happens here

Locate the existing stub-out pipe within the trench that will connect to the new drain line. Use gloved hands to carefully clean any mud, dirt, or debris from inside and around the end of this pipe, ensuring a clean surface for the new connection. Then, open the pre-installed knockout on the septic tank inlet using pliers to prepare for the main connection. Repeat for a second inlet if applicable.

Goal: Clean and open the connection points for the new drain pipe.
