What happens here

To modify the high-tensile woven wire for specific sections or to remove excess, the fixed knots need to be 'stripped.' A common misconception is that this requires many cuts, leaving tiny, hard-to-track scraps. The proper technique involves cutting only the vertical stay wire precisely in the center of the fixed knot. Once the vertical stay is cut, the top of the fixed knot can be bent over with pliers, loosening it instantly. This allows the entire piece of scrap wire to slide right off the line wire. This method results in larger, manageable scrap pieces, reducing the risk of small, sharp wire fragments being left in the field, which could harm animals or machinery.
