What happens here
The Protech Evo 1 machine is equipped with a hydraulic winch capable of 20,000 pounds of pull capacity, significantly more than electric winches (typically 14,000 pounds). The hydraulic winch is ideal for applying extreme tension to the high-tensile fence wire. The downside is that the machine's engine must be running to operate the hydraulic winch. For very long stretches of wire, this powerful winch allows for precise and strong tensioning. An alternative for manual tensioning is the 'boundary strainer,' which consists of chain walkers and can be tied off to a strainer post.
Goal: Apply maximum tension to the fence wire over long runs
