Fencing Like A Pro...Knot tying..Pulling wire tight and more!
What happens here
After tensioning, the fence needs to be securely fastened to the posts. Use specialized 'post ties' made of medium-tensile steel. These ties wrap around the post and the fence wire. A cordless drill equipped with a custom drill chuck attachment is used to quickly twist and break off the excess wire from the post ties, ensuring a secure and tidy attachment. The ties are designed to be easily manipulated by the drill chuck, which twists the ends together until they snap off, leaving a clean connection. For initial positioning, one person may need to lean against the fence to hold it firm while the other attaches the ties.
Goal: Permanently fasten the fence wire to the metal posts.
