Install Brackets on Wall
At 0:37 in
Fastest & strongest way to build floating shelves
What happens here
(This step is shown as already completed in the video at 0:37.500.) Determine the desired location and height for your floating shelves. Use a stud finder to locate wall studs for the strongest possible installation. Mark the mounting points. If studs are not available or align incorrectly, use heavy-duty wall anchors (e.g., toggle bolts, self-drilling anchors, or specific floating shelf anchors) appropriate for your wall material (drywall, plaster, concrete). Using a level, ensure the brackets are perfectly horizontal. Securely screw the floating shelf brackets to the wall, ensuring they are spaced correctly to match the drilled holes in your prepared shelves.
Goal: Mount the floating shelf brackets securely to the wall, ensuring they are level and properly spaced.
