Everything You Need To Know Before Building a Retaining Wall
What happens here
The GeoWall retaining blocks feature fiberglass pins and recessed holes. The first course of blocks is laid directly on the compacted road mix. The fiberglass pins are inserted into the block's top holes, and the subsequent block is placed over them, interlocking the layers. This system allows for slight movement between blocks but ensures overall stability. GeoGrid, a mesh-like material, is laid behind the blocks and extending into the backfill area every two courses to provide additional reinforcement and soil stabilization.
Goal: Install the initial layers of the retaining wall blocks and GeoGrid.
