Everything You Need To Know Before Building a Retaining Wall
What happens here
After the multi-tiered retaining wall is fully constructed, capstones are needed to cover the top layer of blocks. Due to the freezing temperatures, a propane torch is used to melt snow and ice from the block surfaces to ensure proper adhesion. Specialized adhesive is then applied to secure the capstones, completing the retaining wall. Steps leading from the lower tier to the house entrance are also constructed using concrete, creating a smooth transition.
Goal: Complete the retaining wall with capstones and construct connecting steps.
