What happens here
Once the decorative flakes are broadcast, use a floor squeegee or rake to gently sweep and evenly distribute any areas where flakes may have clumped together or appear sparse. The goal is to achieve a uniform appearance across the entire floor. Immediately after, use a roller (often a specialized spike roller or a regular roller with light pressure) to lightly embed the flakes into the still-wet epoxy base coat. This ensures good adhesion of the flakes and prepares the surface for the top coat. Continue to wear spiked shoes to maintain the integrity of the surface.
