Epoxy Floor “Done Right”! #garagefloors #epoxy #epoxyfloor #epoxypour #garagemakeover
What happens here
Begin by spreading the epoxy base coat evenly across the prepared garage floor using a flat or notched squeegee. This ensures a consistent layer of epoxy. Immediately after spreading, use a roller, typically a 1/4" or 3/8" nap solvent-resistant roller, to back-roll the epoxy. This process helps to smooth out any squeegee lines, eliminate air bubbles, and achieve uniform coverage and thickness. Throughout this step, wear spiked shoes to walk on the wet epoxy without disturbing the freshly applied coating.
Goal: Cover the garage floor with the epoxy base coat
