Epoxy Floor “Done Right”! #garagefloors #epoxy #epoxyfloor #epoxypour #garagemakeover
What happens here
Immediately after applying and back-rolling the epoxy base coat, begin broadcasting the decorative flakes (also known as chips or vinyl flakes). Take handfuls of flakes or use a scoop from a bucket and toss them upwards and outwards, allowing them to fall gently onto the wet epoxy. Aim for even distribution and ensure full coverage over the entire surface before the epoxy starts to set. The goal is to obscure the base coat completely with flakes. Continue to wear spiked shoes to move across the wet surface as needed.
Goal: Apply decorative flakes for aesthetics and slip resistance
