Engine Blown? Testing the sawmill after ENGINE TROUBLES

What happens here

Begin by starting the Wood-Mizer LT40 sawmill engine. The engine, a Kohler brand, is started by inserting a key into the ignition and turning it. Once the engine is running, engage the blade lubrication system by flipping a switch and verify that the hydraulic system is operating correctly by checking the pressure gauge, ensuring it reaches approximately 1500 PSI. Next, apply lubricant from a pink bottle to the saw's drive chain by squeezing the bottle along the chain's length. Finally, fill the blade coolant reservoir with a green-colored fluid, secure its cap, and ensure all covers are properly in place. Before beginning any cutting, don safety glasses and earplugs to protect against wood chips, dust, and noise, and put on work gloves for hand protection.

Goal: Prepare the sawmill for operation and ensure safety.
