Engine Blown? Testing the sawmill after ENGINE TROUBLES
What happens here
Repeat the process of turning the log with the hydraulic system and making cuts to create the third and fourth flat faces. This will transform the log into a rectangular 'cant' (a squared timber block) from which smaller dimensioned lumber will be cut. Discard the remaining slabs.
Goal: Transform the log into a squared cant.
Tools and materials
- Hydraulic Log Turners N/A — To rotate the log for each cut
