so [Music] always lift heavy objects with a twisting and jerky according to homer simpson and other words of wisdom from him is this may be the worst day of your life so far all right let's see what we got in the box [Music] gotta make your own sound effects sometimes i wish you guys could see this it's so amazing psych you can see it by doing this i'm guessing there's a right way and a wrong way to get it out of the box and this is neither please note if you order additional equipment parts that may have been shipped separately bazinga corded care tips yeah i care to destroy them against heavy brush corded care tips beat them against heavy things and see how they hold up okay maintaining the spark arrester installing the spark arrestor what the whoa okay i do have to install some stuff odor of fresh oil fresh so i got to get the 14-inch wheels on looks like i don't have to deal with the handle much spark arrester i'm looking for the spark arrester one thing at a time i'll check where the oil is too check how the oil is just tipping it upside down don't do that but if you do do that don't panic because just by writing itself and just letting it settle it should be okay again and i say that because when i tip my skid loaders upside down by accident um and called the shop pretty much that's what they told me let's just let it settle well no special things he had to do not every engine is the same but i mean i've had guys did some stupid stuff one guy took one of my packers put it in this excavator bucket and then curled the excavator bucket up curled it in and when he curled it in the packer was sitting nice and cozy upside down in the packer bucket all the way to the job site remember guys common sense isn't so common it's time for the spark arrester to go in don't get arrested for not getting your spark right here all day long with tons of bad jokes for anybody that wants to hear them sparks are arrested tires next all right now this is the south propelled model so it requires two washers one on the inside one on the outside so they gave us two different washers ching [Music] oh don't tell my wife look at what i did i did a bad thing i did a very bad thing that's what happens when you try to assemble power equipment on the kitchen table i'm guessing a couple of you have tried that though it's a rustic table come on guys it's rustic i've just added more character those are character lines i did that on purpose look at this axle oh shing she's square you guys see that can you guys see that it's kind of heavy on my arm okay so now we're gonna stick probably the wrong washer i don't know i don't care like i said it's one of the two goes in there and then this tire that square through whatever goes on that square kind of like when you were a kid and you had to pound the right shapes in the right spots see those skills stay with you [Music] supposed to have extra parts left over after you're done assembling something i heard that's the way it goes why aren't you using an impact i wonder if you can over tighten these wheels cord care tips hydrate soak your cord and water for at least three days before using cord out of the sun uv can damage your cord causing premature wear trim cord tips at an angle this will make insertion easier especially with larger cord size okay it looks like we got one two three four five adjustment slot heights let's just go this bottom one we insert them both in and then and then you just push hard and you push okay maybe we will trim these up meant to be to go in easy are they oh here we go there we go boom boom okay so there's a click you can feel the click once you get it past the click it just goes which is pretty cool okay so now we install two cords per side [Music] it's like pushing a string that's what it's like pushing a string my oh my what a greasy kind of day oh that's a that's a pop of approval from the bird the bird approves now we need to get check the oil and gas because they are not shipped with oil and gas and thank goodness because some of you crazy guys might do something stupid like turn it upside down while you're unboxing it and installing crap dummies warning dirt monkey videos contain no educational content whatsoever they are just purely meant to okay we gotta do the negative bad thing there's a key that should be a big clue right negative to negative positive to positive but i'm not sure why both were disconnected i know they're disconnected during shipping so they don't draw on the battery all right you only need to disconnect one tempted to turn that key right now just to see if the batteries work even if don't do it don't don't do it i know you want to see if the battery is charged i know you just want to touch that key i'm touching it i'm touching it don't touch it don't turn it because there's no oil in the engine but what will happen you're going to avoid the warranty i just want to test the battery don't do it i think there's probably just a nice little sheen inside the engine so it doesn't rust so now when i'm checking the oil i've got to make sure that the frame of the machine is level so this is wrong i've got to raise up the frame so the mobile mobile i love that name the mole ball is raises up and then this is level now before we go any further we're actually going to do something a little different i have not added oil because i'm going to tip this back i'm actually got the upgraded head to replace this i do want you guys to see how this head the string feeds in and then we'll take a look at the new head and stick that on this is supposed to be an even easier head feed system we're going to replace this with a quick feed head system so let's see we've got to set that one all right so we've got to pull this assembly apart so we can put it back together that's easy okay so oh this is kind of cool let me show you something so this is how these strings go in okay so as you shove it in the hole it goes around and then back out and okay so basically it wraps around like that and this one wraps around like this that's what it looks like okay now on the new assembly it's more like a zip tie i believe don't quote me on that this part doesn't come off this part right here doesn't come off so don't take it off got two spacers and an aluminum housing and where you place these will determine your cutting height and it's not as adjustable as the other one but it's also a lot a lot more durable that's what it's built for right i'm gonna put one spacer above it then i'm gonna put my quick feed head and one spacer below it and then my mo ball there you go hey you guys want to see something zack's working up north here's the pictures he sent me this morning they're getting a bit of snow looks like he's got an inch of snow that's on the texas pride trailer so winter's not over yet okay so we've got the speed feed head on let's see what we gotta do okay that's it it slides in and you leave about a half inch on both sides and then she can't come out but it looks like i can pull this see it'll go one way but it won't go the other way it's like a zip tie right okay let's level her out and fill her with oil look what i found a bottle of sae 30 motor oil that looks good to go as long as it's sealed right you tell if you've got crap in your oil just by looking at it like this because i can't again an sae 30 heavy duty cleansing blah blah blah oil is recommended you pour your oil in right over your kitchen table because that's pretty normal and then you check it and whatever model you guys get this is the 875. just make sure you check to see how much oil you're supposed to add simple as that i screwed one thing up already i've noticed and that was when i was putting the cords in got me to wondering the cords that came with the original trimmer were really long and the cords that came with the quick feed head were a lot shorter so i did a little bit of looking and i realized i screwed up these quick feed cords you don't put two in you actually put four in and you don't pull them all the way through like that you stop them a part way out let me actually show you what i mean so as i put this in i just put enough through that there's about a half inch and that's it it's as simple as that but there's got to be four cords that go in so i put it in i got my half inch boom and if you don't get all four cords in the machine won't balance right right so that's it boy that's that is a slick setup though that quick feed head is nice that's worth the price of admission alone but just make sure you get your four chords in and you get it done right because it's a different setup than what you may be used to if you're upgrading from the regular model i'll take big wheels like this any day look at that i don't have fuel in it yet you guys that's what i'm doing right now i love the smell of gas but that's the problem when you add diesel into gas cans you best double check yep okay i just thought maybe i accidentally stuck here's your gas lid and here's your oil filling for a second there i'm like oh no did i just put oil in the gas and now i'm gonna put gas in the oil cause they look a little alike oh well i didn't though so let's do it now you guys remember that the key i wanted to hit so bad guess what i get to do i get to hit it all right you guys well we got it assembled and we got it running and in the next video coming right down the pipeline we're gonna test it and i mean we're gonna test it dirt monkey style we're gonna go off-roading we're gonna see how much it can handle but on top of that we're also gonna test the mowing part of it they do call it a mower trimmer and so we're gonna mold but not just any kind of ground with it we're gonna mow some soft wet nasty ground and see if it really will float or if it'll gouge and that's coming right down the pipeline so hit that subscribe button hit that like button
