What happens here
The presenter demonstrates the versatile hitch system in his Dodge Cummins truck. He removes a heavy gooseneck hitch component (Reese brand) from the truck bed. He points out the four tie-down holes in the bed, which allow the system to be converted between a fifth-wheel hitch (for RVs or campers) and a gooseneck hitch (for heavy equipment trailers). He then re-installs the gooseneck hitch by opening its arms, aligning it with the tie-down holes, and securing it with retainer clips/pins. This setup allows for maximum use of the truck bed when the hitch is removed.
Goal: Illustrate the multi-purpose hitch system in the truck bed for gooseneck and fifth-wheel trailers.
