What happens here

As the tattoo approaches completion, the artist meticulously inspects the design for any missed spots or areas needing touch-ups, ensuring crisp lines and even saturation. Once satisfied, the entire tattooed area is given a final thorough cleaning with antiseptic solution to remove any remaining ink, blood, or plasma. An appropriate aftercare product, such as a specialized tattoo balm or a thin layer of A&D ointment, is then applied to moisturize and protect the fresh wound. Finally, the tattoo is covered with a sterile bandage or wrap, like medical-grade plastic film, to shield it from bacteria and friction during the initial healing period. The artist provides detailed verbal and written aftercare instructions, emphasizing the importance of keeping the tattoo clean and moisturized, avoiding sun exposure, and preventing scratching or picking. This is crucial for proper healing and the longevity of the tattoo.
