Slabbed Log Kitchen Island Creation

What happens here

The central island in the kitchen is a prominent feature, crafted from a single, massive log that was slabbed (cut lengthwise) to create a unique, organic countertop. This custom piece serves as a focal point, showcasing the raw beauty of natural wood and providing extensive counter space. The entire kitchen itself was part of the whole-property renovation, where none of the original kitchen existed, signifying a complete rebuild.

Goal: Create a unique and functional kitchen island using a large, slabbed log.
