What happens here

A unique architectural element in the lodge is a custom-designed loft support, which features a naturally curved log. This log was specifically selected and integrated into the design to follow the contours of the loft, adding a distinctive and organic structural feature that also serves as a decorative focal point.

Goal: Integrate a naturally curved log to support and visually enhance the loft area.

we salvaged and saved. This is logs that we pulled off from the property. Every single stone you see in here, we hand laid in place. This log right here, actually we found a curved log so we could actually make it go up and around the loft and add it in there. Then we did some little things like put chalk paint on the walls. So, when a family comes in, they can add their own art. It makes it fun for the kids. You know what I mean?
