What happens here
Once both layers of posts are installed and the poly wire is strung, connect the poly wire strands to an electric fence charger. For the first few days, energize the fence to provide a mild, startling shock to deer that encounter it. This 'trains' them to avoid the fence. While electrification is optional, it significantly enhances the deterrent effect. Ensure all lines are interconnected for consistent shock delivery. Periodically inspect the fence for tension, damage, or vegetation growth that could short out the system.
Goal: Activate the electric fence and ensure its ongoing effectiveness.
