CHEAP! EASY! AWESOME FENCE THAT CONFUSES DEER...AND KEEPS THEM OUT!!!
What happens here
On the inner T-posts, attach T-post insulators at 18 inches, 36 inches, and 54 inches from the ground. Use a measuring stick for accurate placement. The poly wire is then run through these insulators, ensuring a continuous electrical connection around the inner perimeter. The presenter demonstrates wrapping the poly wire around the insulators multiple times to ensure good contact and secure attachment, starting from the bottom insulator and moving upwards.
Goal: Install insulators and string the poly wire on the inner fence posts.
Tools and materials
- 6-foot Metal T-Posts — The main support for the inner fence
- Measuring Stick — To ensure accurate spacing of insulators
- Poly Wire — To create the electrified barrier
- T-Post Insulators — To hold the poly wire and prevent electrical shorts
