Apply Flexible Caulk to Cracks and Joints

What happens here

Load a tube of Tower Tech 2 flexible caulk into a caulk gun. Apply a steady, continuous bead of caulk into all cracks, around window and door frames, and any other joints needing sealing. The caulk should fill the entire depth of the joint or sit on top of the backer rod. Immediately after applying a section of caulk, use a gloved finger to 'tool' or smooth the caulk bead. This action pushes the caulk firmly into the joint, creating maximum adhesion and a smooth finish. Ensure a clean edge along the window frame and siding. Pay attention to areas like bottom of door jambs and nail heads that have broken the surface of the siding, as these are common areas for water intrusion. The Tower Tech 2 caulk is noted for its superior bonding, ability to span larger gaps, and ease of tooling.

Goal: Apply a continuous bead of flexible, paintable caulk to all cracks, joints, and around window/door frames. Tool the caulk immediately after application to ensure it is pressed firmly into the joint and creates a smooth, watertight seal.
