What happens here

This video details the process of installing durable footings for outdoor stairs using concrete pouring techniques. It focuses on preparing the base by laying weed barrier, filling the steps with aggregate, and then compacting and watering the aggregate to create a solid foundation resistant to hydrostatic pressure.

Outdoor stairs. This is part two. Let's finish them off. We're going to need weed barrier. Three rolls of tape really that necessary. Cool. Dad pouch. Bougie stapler. You can use any kind of stapler. It doesn't really matter. A lot of people in part one showed concern that I'm using both front and back pieces of wood. Most of them said you only need the front. Why do you need the back? Waste of material. One word. Hydrostatic pressure. That's two words with three syllables. Hell yeah. Syllables. Whenever you build anything around dirt, moisture always wants to find its way out. If the dirt is hard, there's no moisture being able to come out. If water can't come out, it creates a huge bubble and pushes everything out. That means the rebar stakes don't have a chance against mother nature. Seriously, don't look at my butt. What's that? Oh, the work never ends. Are you kidding me? Even when we're not working, we're working. There's something to fix at the house. Uh-huh. Yeah, why not? Who's that guy? 38 aggregate. This is going to be a lot of rock. What can I say? I'm a real rock guy. If you're looking to shed 15 to 20 pounds by summer, look no further. Simply call 1800. My back hurts. I'm going to have two Gatorades, too. I deserved it. I've been a good boy with this. I know the sugar, but who it? I'm going to do it. Told you I was going to do it. Staying on business. I actually don't know what that means. By watering the aggregate, then tamping it down allows for it to settle and compact even more. All right. Well, those are my those are my steps. I like them a lot. Make sure you follow along. And uh in the meantime, I'll be auctioning off this sweaty tea. Promise you're not going to use it for weird sexual kinks. I'm gone.
