Pre-treat and Stain Lumber

What happens here

After the concrete footings have fully cured, pre-treat all lumber components. The video shows applying Thompson's WaterSeal Transparent Wood Sealer in Harvest Gold using a brush. This step helps protect the wood from the elements and adds a decorative finish. It's recommended to do this before assembly to ensure all surfaces are covered and to prevent drips onto the patio after construction. Once stained, ensure the posts are dry before installation.
