What happens here

This project guides the assembly of a Harbor Freight Haulmaster Custom 5 ft. x 10 ft. utility trailer. The video details the unboxing, preparation of the workspace, step-by-step frame assembly, attachment of the tongue, jack stand, safety chains, wheels, and fenders, culminating in the installation of wooden deck boards. Emphasis is placed on using the provided video instructions over the paper manual for ease of assembly.

and this is a $999 trailer the way you see it set up and this is how it comes to you so you are responsible for the Assembly of this thing doesn't sound like it's that hard to do [Music] guys wood is not included that's what she said on a scale of 1 to 10 what would you rate putting this together [Music] so the big question well it's not a big question we are actually going to be building the Harbor Freight $999 trailer Frankie and I when I mean Frankie and I I mean basically Frankie is going to be building it so we're going to clear out the shop so that we can build it inside in here and the glow of the heat cuz it's negative something outside right now but let's go outside and check out what we've got cooking so this is the custom 5x10 trailer by Harbor Freight the hallm and this is a $999 trailer the way you see it set up and this is how it comes to you so you are responsible for the Assembly of this thing and let's just take a look at what we've got going on here we've got box one of four two of fours on the other side three of four four four so you got two fat boxes on the top and then it looks like you got two skinny long boxes on the bottom there's box two4 so that's the way it'll get shipped to you well maybe not to you but that's the way it got shipped to me and we're going to crack that son of a duck open and start putting it together and bring you guys along for the ride but I made a mess out of the shop Frankie had this all cleaned out now this is what happens when he goes away for a while I save him stuff to burn he likes to burn boxes he loves burning boxes loves loves loves it and we've got other cool stuff happening today as well uh he's got a new mat track system by Makita he's going to be opening up I got him that for Christmas along with the trailer and that's it uh let's just get this assembly going [Music] okay so scan this QR code yep and that brings you up to the video that tells you how to do it yep yep okay hold that steady here for these guys comes with complete assembly instructions but if you scan this QR code it takes you to a video which is very helpful actually I want to scan that is that a Harbor Freight video or is that somebody else's video just somebody D somebody putting it together like me or you know just another guy that okay well he's putting it together somebody else is talking in the background or whatever but yeah [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] where was this title at Frankie on uh in the Ziploc baggie on the outside box one of the outside boxes on the outside of it that's a safe place yeah it was on the I almost threw it away oh really I didn't know what it was until I read that and I read that deal and it said uh your title comes with it nice well at least he got a title yeah that's good and no messing around with it and the title says only comes as an un unassembled product right unassembled kit yeah sold only as an unassembled kit okay there you go how long you think it's going to take you to put this together probably all day tomorrow I'm thinking yeah yeah okay it's just going slow I me but it'll start picking up now now that see don't this look like it's backwards to you you know with the SE up okay know with that this the the leaf spring goes on the bottom right yep so when you stand that up all these slots are on the outside of the trailer yeah wow a lot of dirt and kind of nasty would that they kind of look rougher be nice if it was the smooth side on the other side of the trail well they actually have a um got covers yeah they got covers yeah I didn't know I seen that yep yep so the covers actually keep it uh keep all the so you so it looks clean yes yeah I didn't I didn't realize it when I was putting it together and then here we go we've got the tires right there yeah 13 in I think they 13in tires yeah wonder what the load rating on those are you know you only can haul to the least like the weakest chain in the length right and whether it's the coupler or the tires or the axle rating or I think it's what did they say 27 2700 lb 27 or 25 27 I thought they said yeah the the trailer is rated to 2700 lb but the tires got to be rated to more than that or it can't be rated to that so I don't know all right well good enough let's keep let's keep the show rolling wait what what do it say it's rated for Frankie 1,360 oh not pounds it's uh oh yeah yeah yeah pound yeah yeah so 1360 single let's see load range C6 PR X load 1,360 lb at 30 50 KP I can't read that 50 psi cold H yeah it's the weakest link though the tires the tires if I'm reading that right okay I I I feel I I [Music] I I I I [Music] oh so I thought I'd check in with Frankie and see how he's doing but I found him out in his truck so that's a perfect chance for me to scare the crap off I really wanted to find out was how the install was going and whether he was using the directions or the video more let's just find out after we're done scaring the crap out of them of [Music] course cuz it just doesn't it explains it a little better on the video than they do on here plus it kind of shows you too but you're saying the video is better than the book yeah but this this I get to know what's you follow my steps anyways and then I just jump to the video when I run problems but okay but I've been jumping to the video quite a bit okay so but yeah otherwise yeah things are it's going all right I guess like a giant Lego pretty much mhm like a giant Lego so what we're doing today is the Bare Bones $999 Harbor Freight trailer now there's a number of options and you can set this thing up however you like in whatever way suits you best and I've got a bunch of stuff coming for Frankie down the pipeline but we'll save that for a second video I wanted to really just show you what you ended up getting for the $999 in this video [Music] oh [Music] okay so everything on the trailer Frankie was put together with a 11 15 15 and 11 a 15 mm socket and an 11 mm socket no welding no except for the Springs right where the Springs y so you'll need three tools pretty much and a torque wrench and a torque wrench what do they use the torque wrench for the torque everything down all the bolts so all the bolts get torqued to what I think it was 25 and 10 25 and 10 10 25 on the 15s and 10 on the 11s so on a scale of 1 to to 10 for building this cuz Frankie you build everything I mean he builds everything from houses to to cars to he'll throw a transmission in he'll put new front ends in he'll put everything and he'll go out and frame a deck and that's just he just loves building stuff on a scale of 1 to 10 what would you rate putting this together for easiness or hard I mean 10 is the hardest one is the easiest does that make sense or is that vice versa what's the I'm going to put the I had to go back and forth to the to the video and the and to the instructions cuz the video to me was a lot easier to watch and use than the actual paper okay but um otherwise it was IID say about an eight for being good eight so eight for being good so 10 is the super easiest way to do it it's already done you just go down to the store and pick it up yep nine you got some assembly required eight you're having fun in the garage doing stuff is that would that be about right yeah okay so you were having you've been having a good time putting this together you're not frustrated you're not pulling your three remaining Charlie Brown hairs out and you're you're good to go okay yeah [Music] okay doesn't sound like it's that hard to do guys but the other tool you'll need is a Sunfire radiant heater cuz it's 5° outside right now it's super cold out you're going to need to do it in the warp look at this look at the frost on the windshield no snow in Minnesota cuz heaven forbid we get that right now but we got the cold we're going to go pick up a loader at the top notch so if you like videos on testing out new loaders that's what I'm getting ready to go do right now I'm waiting for Zach to come in and we're going to go fire up a bunch of new loaders and give them a test run and uh so hit that subscribe button if you want to check that out and if there's anything else you guys you know a lot of the videos I make are based on the stuff that you guys want to see so you guys say I'd love to see this well I try to figure it out find it out and take it to the next level so if there is something you want to see just let me know and I thought this was a great one can somebody actually build a $999 trailer in their garage and how difficult would it be and doesn't sound like it was too much the wood is not included that's what she said so we're going to go get wood and top this one off okay what kind of deck Bo did you end up getting Frankie Green Tree deck boards of that 54s so just like same thing you put on a deck yep yep that's and that's what it needed for this trailer that's what they that's what they requested yeah okay so know and everything you no pH would you buy would you pay $1,000 for this trailer $999 yep I would okay so everything that You' seen put it together you'd have to assemble it everything else you if you were in the market for a trailer you would do this yeah you ain't going to go buy the used one for that even you know so might not get a new one and how much of the deckboards run you 90 90 bucks I think it was 90 bucks so 1,00 bucks with deckboards you're all at the door for what we see right here y even with your time though but I mean that's the Sweat Equity that you put into a trailer you want to save some money right you're getting plus your time if you ain't working the time ain't really nothing yeah I mean it is but it ain't mhm okay well good to know what else should we know about this trailer no Wells nothing how was how did the wiring Go Frankie wiring went good I mean it went all right I mean I don't know what more I can say everything if you follow the instructions or whatever everything went good okay well all right you guys you heard it right straight from the Frankie's mouth that's the uh that's the Harbor Freight $999 trailer assembled and uh put together and I wanted to find out what really how it went together and what what person thinks what what do you want to say Frank say I didn't check the lighting out yet but I just got to plug it in my truck okay all right that's it for this video God bless you guys and go get them we'll we'll see you on another one [Music]
