Building a snowplow truck

What happens here

Cody demonstrates the in-cab controller for the BOSS snow plow system. When the truck's key is turned on, a red power button illuminates. Pressing this button brings up the main menu, which displays auger and spinner settings in pounds per minute and feet of spread. The controller also allows activation of work lights and strobe lights. A unique feature is the ability to track salt usage per job. Users can select different job numbers (up to 10) to log specific salt quantities for each location. The controller also offers calibration settings for precise material application and options to change the vibrator pulse type (pulse or standard). Cody notes that the previous models had an 11-pin connector, but the current ones use a 13-pin connector, maintaining compatibility with BOSS plows from the last 15 years.

Goal: Learn how to operate and utilize the in-cab controller for snow plow and spreader functions.
