Building a Hand Crafted Timber Frame Pavilion, Ideas for your property!
What happens here
With the timber frame sections pre-assembled on the ground, a telehandler (JLG Sunbelt Rentals 6036) is used to carefully lift the first large section into an upright position. Multiple workers assist by guiding the heavy timber posts into place and securing them onto the previously installed metal post bases on the concrete piers. Safety straps are used to control the movement of the timber frame as it is lifted and positioned. Once the first section is upright and stable, the telehandler proceeds to lift and set the second timber frame section, mirroring the process.
Goal: Erect the main timber frame structure
