Building a Hand Crafted Timber Frame Pavilion, Ideas for your property!

What happens here

After the main timber frame sections are upright, the telehandler is used to carefully lift long, heavy cross beams. Workers on ladders and scaffolding guide these beams into their respective mortise and tenon joints across the top of the erected frame. Once positioned, the joints are secured using wooden pegs driven in with mallets, similar to the ground assembly. This process is repeated for all cross beams, gradually forming the complete roof structure.

Goal: Connect the timber frame sections with cross beams
