Building a Hand Crafted Timber Frame Pavilion, Ideas for your property!

What happens here

Using a Makita rotary hammer drill, drill pilot holes into the concrete piers where the timber posts will rest. After drilling, clear the dust from the holes using an air nozzle. Then, secure a metal post base plate to the concrete pier using concrete anchor screws. The post base features a central threaded bolt for fine height adjustment. Use a wrench to tighten the nuts on the threaded bolt, allowing for precise leveling of the timber posts. A specialized large-diameter drill bit is then used with an impact driver to bore a deep, wide hole into the bottom of each timber post, allowing the post to fit securely over the central threaded bolt of the post base.

Goal: Secure and level the post bases on concrete piers
