Mix Thinset Mortar for Membrane

What happens here

Pour the Mapei Uncoupling Membrane Mortar into a 5-gallon bucket. Add the Mapei Polymer Additive (approximately 2 gallons for a bag of mortar) to the mortar. Use a paddle mixer attached to a drill to thoroughly blend the mixture until it reaches a smooth consistency similar to sour cream. This consistency ensures optimal workability and adhesion.

Goal: Mix the specialized thinset mortar with polymer additive to achieve a sour cream-like consistency.
