Install Rafters, Sheathing, and Underlayment

What happens here

Install the remaining rafters to complete the roof structure, creating the desired pitch for water runoff. Once the rafters are in place, attach plywood sheathing (e.g., 1/2-inch or 5/8-inch plywood) directly to the rafters. Carefully cut out openings for any skylights or translucent roof panels, ensuring they are properly framed and watertight. Cover the entire plywood deck with roofing felt/underlayment (e.g., GAF Shinglemate) before applying the final roofing material.
