Install Roof Rafters

What happens here

Install the roof rafters, which are individual wooden members that span from the house (attached to the ledger) to the main beam of the pergola. These rafters are cut to precise lengths and angles to create the desired roof pitch. Each rafter is securely fastened to the ledger board using metal joist hangers or similar connectors and to the main beam using appropriate hardware. This forms the structural grid that will support the roof sheathing.
