Excavator Initial Clearing

AWESOME! Time Lapse Clearing an old Abandoned Field on the farm!
What happens here
The initial land clearing begins with the Kobelco SK170 excavator. The operator, using the excavator's bucket and hydraulic thumb attachment, systematically removes small trees and dense brush. The excavator's arm extends into the overgrown area, grips the base of a tree or a clump of brush with the thumb, and then pulls it out of the ground, often bringing the entire root ball with it. This process is repeated, creating a trail of cleared land. As vegetation is uprooted, it is moved and piled to the side, gradually forming large mounds of debris. The time-lapse footage shows the machine working efficiently, plucking trees and brush, ensuring roots are removed to prevent regrowth and establish a clean surface for future pasture. The ground beneath the removed vegetation is left exposed and uneven.
Goal: Remove brush and small trees, creating a primary debris pile
