Install the Integrated Post Base

What happens here

With the area prepared, position the black metal integrated post base onto the designated spot. This post base typically includes a flat flange for attachment to the structure and a vertical shaft to which the post holder bracket will attach. Once properly aligned, use a Makita cordless impact driver to securely fasten the post base to the wooden structure. Drive several screws through the pre-drilled holes in the base's flange, ensuring they penetrate deep enough into the structural wood for a strong, stable connection. Check for plumb and level before fully tightening.
