it's always tough to get that measurement right especially right on you know we're dealing with like trim carpentry here a lot of guys you know they say oh on the back of the tape measure is a number and but it don't talk to me if you do that you're quick and dirty I just measure over 10 like 66 and an e at 10 76 and an e go cut it you think it's going to fit oh we'll see that was fast that was really fast you can't get tighter than that f [Music] what's going on everybody welcome back to the channel it's almost Christmas time holiday season so this year we've had an amazing year we want to thank everybody for watching our videos for supporting us and to pay that back and give a present to you I'm going to give you one of my favorite things which is this compilation of my favorite Tony tips enjoy I it's got to be like a 2 second long [Music] video oh shoot look at the time tip time with [Music] Tony so these next these Tundra boards that are returning back they're going to be tight tight to tight measurements so they're going to butt against our facial walls and they're going to butt tight to that first board I just put in whenever I like to cut anything tight to tight I like to put little bevels on it just like a couple degrees you can either come to the saw change it quick and dirty just throw your pencil underneath put it on the slight angle and that'll give you just the bevel you need so it fits in there nice and tight huh crap look at the time took time with Tony so I have this piece of PVC here it's about about 12T long PVC is very flexible it wants to bend it wants to fall so how am I going to hold this without any help there's nobody here I always like to keep sinkers 8 penny nails in my pouch mainly for this reason driving now roughly where the material is going to go can slide it in hold it for me nail it up the more you know oh weird look at the time TI time with Tony we all know what this is this is a carpenter's pencil the reason they call it a Carpenters pencil is cuz Carpenters use it but it's also a portable table saw check this out drop your saw slap your pencil hold it tight straight as eggs the more you know oh boy Tom do you know what time it is no what time is it tip time with Tony so this piece we got installed right now the Gap isn't as tight as I would like so like you can sit here and beat it and beat it and beat it hurt your hand a quick and dirty little way to go about it is take a piece of scrap cut it on an [Music] angle we're done S A couple screws in it so now this is going to work as like a [Music] wedge now my reveal is nice and tight we can nail it up good as new the more you know hey Sean hey what's up what time is it do you know what time it is yeah it's tip time with Tony that's right tip time with Tony so whenever you're putting on that loose piece and you're nailing it together sometimes your miters won't get perfect I'm going to show you a little trick how to kill that so you want to take something smooth I'm going to use this T15 bit you want to wrap it in a towel and come here and you just want to roll that corner and what that does is it closes that Gap and puts a smooth little radius on it so it's not so sharp to the touch the more you know oh man all ready gu what time it is tip time with Tony all right time for a little quick and dirty tip I got to cut 22 of these 2x sixes at like 2 and 516 here's here's what I'll do come over make a mark get your board that's my cut draw a line on your chapsa Mark they're all the same size the more you know Tony what time is it dip time with Tony sick what's up everybody currently I'm working on our bar detail which is going to incorporate 17 decorators folded deck boards so when you have to deal with that many I have to fold 17 of them you have to make a jig and this is my trusty jig first thing I'm using all the same material so all the elevations playing out the first thing I installed was a track that would accept my 7 and a/4 board and then the two pieces on top are the width of my router now once all that's screwed into place I can just put my board in send my router and move on that helps doing 17 a little bit easier and it takes the mind out of it so first thing grab your board you be able to slide it in there for this one I need to be 60 and 1/2 from the bottom so my board's set I can pinch these down now that won't move grab your trusty half inch router which we have about like an inch and an eigh deep vbit and send [Music] [Applause] it pull it out and now all these are ready to be folded and remember this is just Tony's way but Tony's way is the only [Music] way [Music]
