What happens here

This video demonstrates the safe and efficient use of a tractor-mounted 'Precision Manufacturing Mini Clip' for cutting and clearing trees and brush. The content of this video is focused on heavy-duty land clearing and does not align with the requested topic of 'Rain Gutter Cleaning with Ladder Stabilizer', 'Attic Space Decluttering', or 'Seasonal & Deep Cleaning'. The instructions detail how this hydraulic shear attachment operates, its features like rotation and telescoping capabilities, and its benefits for reducing manual labor and increasing safety during tree removal.

a blue tractor what we ain't got no blue tractor i'm trying to get my step dad to buy a red tractor but we've got a blue new hauling tractor here today guys so welcome to the stoney ridge farm today it's tool tuesday and we're going to have some fun we've got a cool tool that i've used this is not a sponsored video this is a tool from my farm that i use on my place all the time and typically i'll be using it with the skid loader today we're using the new holland tractor right here and this is my stepdad's tractor we're at my parents house now what we've got is the precision manufacturing mini clip these things are made right in missouri made in america absolutely awesome piece of equipment there's a hydraulic cylinder right here that runs this clip and basically if you can get the tree in that clip it will cut the tree it will cut hard wood soft woods brush weeds anything and everything and the project we have at hand oh and it also rotates so it rotates this way and that way in case you got a limb because every tree is not pointing straight up some of them are leaning like most of these were going to be taken out today so what we got to do is use the mini clip to get all that mess this is brush and debris clip it off down at the ground eventually and get all this debris out of the way so that they can park equipment underneath here without all the stuff falling out of the trees leaves and all that stuff so we got a little project today gonna be fun gonna be running the new holland tractor and the mini clip so before we get started let's introduce you to dad's tractor this is a t475 this is a 75 horsepower new holland tractor do you need 75 horse to run this no you need probably anywhere from 35 to 55 horsepower something like that and this tractor is perfect it's strong enough it's got a good heavy lift capacity i'll post some of the specs scrolling across the screen on what size tractor but this is the mini clip they make a bigger clip than this critter right here and again this thing rotates side to side when you run it on a tractor like this you really have a very very high reach it also telescopes out so we've got it in the furthest telescope out position you just pull a pin right here and it telescopes out i i'm gonna say it's about six feet from the bulkhead right there and this connects with skid steer quick attach and skid steer quick attach flat face connectors so that's how all that connects up it's ready to rock and roll ready to work right now we gonna get busy so folks we would be cutting these off down close to the ground however we're cutting them off up high right now because they're pretty close to this barn we want to cut the tops out first let those drop and then we'll cut the bottom what you can't see is that on the loader handle inside the tractor there is a push button and that push button actuates the hydraulics there's also a tiny remote that goes along with this machine and what that remote does is switch from the clip to the rotational portion in other words you can rotate it nearly 360 degrees so any limb at any angle can be totally accessible this thing is a beast i mean what it does is it eliminates the use of the chainsaw it eliminates the need for having to have a hard hat chainsaw the danger of getting out here and working with a chainsaw and as you can see guys we're only going to do this for about 45 minutes and we're going to get every single one of these trees this is probably around 100 trees these are weed trees these are not trees that are high quality lumber these are trees that grew up from basically lack of maintenance on this hillside right here now my parents are in their 60s and getting close to their 70s and they need this kind of equipment to help them out my stepdad probably couldn't get out here and run a chainsaw like he's 22 years old anymore so it's really really handy especially for a guy maintaining fence lines cleaning up property this is just an awesome tool you're going to see it put to work on the stony ridge farm pretty soon too we're going to go do all of our fence lines with this thing and you can reach way off over the edge of a hill if you've got a skid steer really makes this thing shine because you can maneuver so quickly so you'll cut your time and basically in half now the tree clip doesn't take any sort of really high hydraulic flow it's all based on torque pretty much and it's not really sharp as you can see i had my hands on it earlier it's not like razor sharp it just basically crushes the tree and it'll cut a tree i've cut trees that were up to 12 inches as long as you can get that tree clip around it it will straight up cut it now they might not tell you that in the brochure but this is real world real life real farming and real land maintenance what do you think about that all right if it's all my father's doing it off of allowing the chainsaw yep awesome now you got a challenge right here you got a piece of chain-link fence in there that'll be pretty interesting i'll help you out what a great step dad i couldn't ask for a better dad give you guys a little touch of family history so my parents split up when i was about 13 and barry really kind of took over uh as my you know as a dad as a step dad he just took me and my sister in as if we were we were his own and i sure am glad i can pay it forward now that i'm fairly successful sure is a blessing here's the precision part it don't get much funner than that does it there it is just halfway pinch it and then you can push it on where it needs to go looks like a huge mess right well dad's got a grapple he's going to go back and get the grapple and clean all this mess up tomorrow he's got a big old burn pile right down the middle of the pasture with all the brushes cleared he's had this machine for about three days now and he has been using it and i'm glad super glad guys pound that like button if you enjoy this kind of content this is just a good time i probably won't throw it away but i won't have to use it as much did you think of that thing i think's great it's a trick ain't it it sure is imagine if you had it on a bobcat skid steer oh i know how much more maneuverable it'd be yeah yeah it's awesome guys uh this made quick work i mean it was less than 40 minutes and we got all that debris down now you've got the work to do with the grapple so you're gonna take it all down grapple the grapple will take a lot of work out of it too yeah nice so you'll take the grapple and take the brush down there and put it in the burn pile light her up right yep right on well yeah that's the plan you got this for two or three more weeks however long you need it man then we'll put it to work on my place no tell them what i'll do for the next two or three weeks yeah we'll give you the camera then well guys i hope you enjoyed today's video this is the mini clip from precision manufacturing what a lifesaver what a time saver especially for somebody who doesn't want to bend over and drag brush and run a chainsaw all day long that would have taken how long you think that would have took with a chainsaw in two minutes hey it would have took me a long time yeah i tell you and i'm a firm believer now not only this tool but other tools yeah that uh it's a lot easier to do it from that tractor seat than it is doing it at manual labor especially at my age yeah absolutely cool well guys i hope you enjoyed tool tuesday awesome progress got some work done got you a cool video guys pound the like button i hope you're subscribed to the channel if not jump in subscribe the channel come on back and see me in the next tool tuesday all right thanks a lot guys we'll see you next time on the stoney ridge and i was raised right here what kind of woo you got whoa there it is [Laughter] see y'all take that's care way it's supposed to be stoney red
