All that metal is code, but we like to add this scab to help keep our post/beam acting as one unit!

What happens here

Once all screws and lag screws are installed for one section, visually inspect the connections to confirm they are tight and properly seated. The angled wooden braces, though not 'cross-bracing' in the galvanized steel context, provide effective diagonal reinforcement to the wooden framework, increasing its rigidity and ability to withstand lateral forces. Repeat these steps for all necessary sections of the wooden structure to achieve consistent stability and load-bearing capacity across the entire framework.

Goal: Review the completed section of the structure, ensuring all connections are secure and the wooden bracing effectively enhances stability.
