A concrete truck is ALWAYS worth it. #concrete #slab

What happens here

Once the concrete has been poured, spread, and vibrated, use a long, straight edge, such as a wooden 2x4 or a dedicated screed board, to level the surface. Place the screed board across the top edges of the formwork. With one person on each end (or one person if the span is short), pull the screed board along the formwork with a sawing motion. This action removes any excess concrete above the desired height and fills in any low spots, establishing the correct elevation and initial flatness of the concrete surface. Repeat passes as necessary until the surface is level with the top of the forms.

Goal: Achieve the correct height and initial levelness of the concrete
