1500HP Twin Turbo Coyote Mustang Build: My Second Turbo Kit EVER! (From The Archives)
What happens here
The twin turbochargers are mounted onto the modified exhaust manifolds within the engine bay. Custom intercooler piping (charge pipes) and exhaust piping are then routed and installed. To aid in tack-welding pipes when working alone, a technique involving cutting a small slot in painter's tape to secure the joint is demonstrated. This helps hold the pieces in alignment until they can be tack-welded. Initial rough cuts are also made in the fender wells to accommodate the new turbo components, with plans for later refinement. The custom-painted blue charge pipes are installed, giving the engine bay a finished look.
Goal: Mount turbos and route custom exhaust/intercooler piping.
