(14,310 characters)day two airbag installation i am at fleet pride right now because i need to get more of these because i cut them to get the bags off uh instead of trying to get them out of the old bag so i need to get four more of these like flare on one end pipe there on the other end fittings for these new bags here i got that bag with me for reference for the other side since the rest of them are still stuck in the old bags uh hopefully they have them i think they should it's a pretty common thing if not you know there's got to be like a hydraulic place or something open today because it is saturday just kind of sticks i don't i don't take days off but it just makes it harder to get parts on weekends fleet pride did not have them but this place across the street did they had them real quick right away and i gotta say i walked into fleet pride and there was this guy sitting at the counter and he just sitting there on his phone for literally like three minutes i just stood there i'm like bro do you want my money say something it's just dumb i probably won't go back there again unless i absolutely have to but i will avoid businesses on principle that do not give a crap like that like i will drive farther to a place that has less of the stuff i need to support businesses that give a crap about their customers not that fleet pride doesn't but i haven't had the best experience with those guys in there some of them are okay some of them just don't care and if some of them don't care all of them might as well not care because someone's letting them continue to work there anyway got these fittings we go back to the shop put them on and get rolling what are you doing here on a saturday selling car parts just slinging just slanging man trying to go some business you're committed i see you here more than anyone else after hours i know right triple seven logan i got a steal there's some shorties but man they're only 25 bucks 25 bucks five bucks well that's all they're worth of their freaking shorties whatever don't matter might rumble a little bit more that'll sound decent you gain like five horsepower on the blood dyno yeah i mean it still blows up it'll sound cooler when you're nailing the rev limiter in the parking lot exactly and then you know with this bad boy right here i'm definitely going to chop and scream what's that uh so it came out of the seat 17 so this is some random some random big mofo turbo camera stuff in your truck oh my god that's a nice new airbag ooh goodyear logan hasn't seen the original bags yet and how bad they are let's just pull the wheel off look at these things [Music] well that's good quality though look at that dude they lasted 26 years that's got a couple more burnouts in it i just gotta get get this up in the vice and get the other stub out of there i want to check over my hubs while the wheel's off just make sure they're all good if i don't have a hub issue down the road like what do i got to do for that um so looking at this a little bit different setup usually this is a nut and you have a wrench and you'll unscrew this and drain off the hub oil um looks like on this one you can take all the half inch wrench or half inch bolt out pull this off let the hub oil drain and then what you'll do is you'll take and you pop this rubber cap out right here like so and then see you can already see the hub wall in there it still looks pretty good actually that's a little bit worn has like kind of a uh metally burnt smell to it uh i'm doing this a lot i kind of know what good it is and what bad is so really all you need to do is you'll take this off drain the oil and then you'll get a new hub oil you'll pour in here you let it sit up it'll catch up right to about this lip you let it sit it'll drain down you'll spin it a little bit let it sit some more and make sure it's full and then all you do is pop your rubber cap back on and you're good to go super simple good maintenance to do i do this every night on trailers so logan's camera guy oh man look at this guy he's gonna actually use his muscles i'm glad i'm me because i was having a bad time yesterday and i'm kind of a bear like you're a bear too if you're having a bad time you know everybody else is like just not even gonna you know they're done yeah yeah nobody would like to get that off good thing i bolted that vise down to the wood that's not bolted down there we go there we go i don't know if you guys are seeing look at that board go kind of gotta like work it around this is why i took it off the top of the tank because that one was straight up and down and i could do this like yeah upwards but this is at an angle the wrench wouldn't even fit in there oh geez you know you're strong when you're bending boards notice i have my i'm using my body weight to heave on this but my foot is back there so if it comes loose i don't go straight back the sliding surface in the fitting thankfully it's not a freaking wedge type fitting and it's actually able to do that otherwise you have to spend the whole line if i was like you know worldly i would get all new lines i don't got money for that i don't got time for that we're just it's fine we're going to let this bait in some pb for a bit and look it's man what'd you use to cut that explain the process to me a big sawzall yeah literally whatever blade was already on it oh that took forever didn't it no it didn't it was really quick yeah i think it's a milwaukee sawzall blade too isn't it yeah it is yeah milwaukee sawzall this is a nine inch 14 tpi metal blade and that thing's probably been on that thing for maybe this is a host that's been on there for like a day honestly but we eat them up so fast i'm surprised to cut that how do i shut the camera off see i don't know how to use gopros i got the old school one it's a big ass brick button on the top all right there we go basically uh what i got to do put them in bolt them all up and then put the big fittings in the top and then hook up the big lines so those go in the last it's pretty straightforward it's all three quarters i got new uh nylock bolts or nuts for those so i don't reuse the old ones i think what i'm gonna do is i'm going to bolt the top in first on probably both of both of them and then jack up the axle more to do the bottom studs because it's only one bolt and i just like to clarify i've been getting a lot of dumb comments on my last video oh you picked that thing up with a jack the jack is only holding the axle up there are stands under there holding the hole holding the whole couch i failed to comprehend okay so you think how are you holding that whole thing up with the jack the airbags are out people there's no bags on this side the jack is right here how could this possibly be holding up the entire coach if there's no airbags in there maybe i overestimate people sometimes but i think that makes pretty good sense to me as to why that would not work but anyway we'll get back at it let's get started with this i'll do it hand tight to finish it so i know exactly how tight it is because i never just leave it with the impact i always you know do it with my hands so i can feel it for sure what it's doing i hope you guys know how much longer it takes me to do things when i gotta worry about filming at first but it's important to me just getting that on there now i'm gonna buzz that down and do the same the other side also whenever i start the gopro sometimes when i'm laying down i'm holding it sideways and it starts to clip in like portrait and then i gotta stop when it shuts off and then hold it up right as it comes back landscape it's just annoying like ah whatever stupid rant back to work the top four tight two on each bag bottom one's tight over there i can't get to this one conventionally because of the controllers on the way so i'm gonna have to ratchet wrench to tighten this one now i have to get these big old fittings screwed up for the top of the bag which will be uh fun so that's pretty much all they got to do get these fittings in there nice and tight and then reconnect the air lines then boom that's it sounds easy enough right down here now it's a little stubby wrench getting that tightened up and it's just the way that line is kind of weird because how that fitting lines up um it looks like it's kink because it is but it won't be once i tighten it the whole way and it gets down and expands it's kind of like one of those real close quarters situations um we race car guys you know you know uh areas like that with a n lines where the bend is so tight that it's perfect when it's tight but you have to like get it like crank it back up and then tighten it to work it back out um you know what i mean that's that i'm doing this one first because it's easy it's closer and then i will do the uh the big line there i put the whole thing in and after that um i'm gonna drain pull some of these plugs out like this right here that's a drain plug there's so many freaking tanks under here like this is like an auxiliary tank for something and these big tanks here run the bags so this tank is for this side and this tank behind me is for that side but it's weird there's like a little firewall thingy here that kind of blocks the drain for this tank so i'm not sure how to get to that uh we'll find out so i'm gonna drain that get it all put back together and then i'm gonna air this thing back up and see if any of my lines leak so i know if they leak or not it's a pretty poppiest thing to say but whatever getting to it on the home stretch now that's for sure see if i can get this propped up on here so you can actually see something how about that right on the frame rail i got these all pb blasted up they're nice and nice and free now sort of better than they were [Music] even once we punched something to lose a knuckle everything's a hammer i'm not going to keep recording this because it pressures me to go faster than i want to so i'll tell you about it when it's done i'm not having fun right now those lines are just tight like the big one big long one is especially tight and i don't know why it's just so tight that the angle in there i can't even get it to like turn anymore with a giant wrench and the line is still wiggly in the fitting so i know it's not fully seated i'm probably gonna have to pull it out and get another one made i was mad like really real mad i don't always have fun when i'm doing this stuff i think a lot of a lot of guys on here don't show that they'd like oh well i can't i can't have a bad attitude or whatever you know i'm not having a bad attitude right now i'm pissed off but it's not a bad attitude and i'll explain the difference when stuff like this happens and i get irritated i catch myself going on the road like i don't need to do this anyway like how much would it cost to pay somebody to do it like screw it i don't care i got better stuff to do and when that happens that's a trigger in my mind where i've conditioned myself enough times doing this that i've made that a trigger to where the battery mine goes like bro stop being a just leave tag your mind off it collect your thoughts come back get it done because this right here is a test if i quit i fail if i figure it out get it done even though i don't want to i passed the test you have those sometimes and that's how i look at them so i won't let this beat me am i irritated and am i going to take a break right now yes i am because i was up there contorted and everything for like 20 minutes and i'm like physically exhausted from even on that wrench in this weird like position and my chin's all scuffed up my elbows like scuffed up from laying and sliding on the concrete and stuff and to make things even worse when you're under there and you're all mad and you go to roll out and then the creeper wheel gets blotted up in your pants it's just like you know what game over i'm out but and that happened to me that's just like that that's what separates winners and losers these losers quit winners know they want to quit they get it done anyway that's what i'm doing that's what you should do that's what people who make videos like this should show when they get mad at stuff they just edit it all out and pretend like it never happened well you know what the world's not freaking sunshine and rainbows people get mad you gotta work through crap like this it's just part of the deal so start showing it because everybody watching that stuff when they see you know this guy has no problems he's never met they think that their lives are terrible because they are not living to the standard they see in someone's video or instagram post or whatever and that's bs because everybody goes through that it's just most people cut it out because they think everything has to be perfect and that's not the case it doesn't have to be perfect it has to be real this is real i'm not finishing this today or at least right now because i'm mad i'm thirsty i'm gonna go clear my mind get a breather i'm probably gonna go to the gym and that's the weirdest thing is i solve i take a break from hard work with more hard work i don't know how that makes any sense but going to the gym and just doing monotonous stuff and trying hard makes me feel good and then i come back i got a clear head and i can usually figure out what it is i was going to do even though i'm like more physically fatigued than i was before but it's it's kind of in a good way i don't know i can't explain it if you know what i mean you know what i mean and you probably can't explain it either so i'm going to leave it at that uh make sure you follow me on instagram at stapleton42 a little underscore in the end so you can see the good the bad the ugly everything is real about the realness there's no facade here there's no facade on my instagram it's just real i show it all and i speak truthfully about my thoughts in that given moment just like i am right now and if you like that kind of stuff you should hit that subscribe button because i want more people to do this too and that only happens if you guys are asking for it so demand the same for other people if you like seeing it here because i like seeing it that's why i'm doing it to lead the way to make the internet stop being a load of crap basically so
