Position yourself underneath the sink to access the faucet's mounting hardware. The looseness is caused by the retaining nut that has worked its way loose over time. Place the jaws of the basin wrench around this nut. Turn the wrench handle to tighten the nut until it is snug. Ensure the faucet is properly aligned before fully tightening.
