Then, separate the knob from the metal bar and unscrew the metal bar to remove the stopper. Finally, if the stopper does not come out and there is no set screw, twist the knob while holding the stopper in place, then use a flathead screwdriver to unscrew the stopper from the crossbars by placing the flat head screwdriver in the available slot and spinning counterclockwise.
