Before applying any adhesives, perform a dry fit. Clean the inside of the pipe and the surrounding area. First, apply PVC cleaner, then PVC primer, and finally heavy-duty PVC cement to the outside of the pipe and the inside of the drain fitting. Firmly press the drain into place with a slight twisting motion. Immediately use a level to ensure the drain flange is perfectly level in all directions. Use shims under the flange if necessary to hold it in the correct position while the cement cures.

- After setting the drain, you can apply another coat of cement around the inside seam for an extra-strong seal.
